According to research, the origins of Vacation Bible School can be traced back to the 19th century. At ConnectedKiDZ.com, we think it's time for a 21st century summer event for elementary kids that will change the way kids and parents view VBS forever! Introducing the solution: SUMMER EXPLOSION!!
Summer Explosion is an annual FREE mini-kids camp packed full of crazy games, awesome music, relevent teaching and action-packed team competition. Simply put, it's: FUN, FRIENDS & GOD!! This year's theme features "BASEBALL" and each player (the kids) will be challenged that in all they do, they should "hit it 'OUTTA THE PARK!'" Your elementary child(ren) will have a blast as they "join the team" and develop healthy relationships with other kids & their "coaches." The entire campus of Church of the Harvest will be transformed into a baseball stadium -- unofficially dubbed as the "cK" (not the Kauffman, but the ConnectedKiDZ stadium!).
Who:
Summer Explosion is for elementary kids entering Kindergarten through 7th grade.
When:
Summer Explosion consists of four dates: Wednesday, July 29th - Friday, July 31st (6:00 PM - 8:30 PM) and then a special final rally (Parents are invited!) on Sunday, August 2nd (2 times to choose from: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM or 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM).

Did we mention FREE? Your child will receive a FREE ConnectedKiDZ.com Baseball Cap (colored according to the team they are on) when they show up on the first day. Summer Explosion 2009 T-Shirts will be on sale for $10. There will also be a concessions stand that will have snacks and goodies for sale.
